Pointdeling in the year's first El Clásico

FC Barcelona were without Lionel Messi from the start, when the club had to settle for 1-1 at home against Real Madrid on Wednesday evening.

Here tørnede the two big Spanish clubs together in the classic El Clásico in the first showdown in the semifinals of the Copa del Rey.

Real got a drømmestart with a quick 1-0-lead, before Malcolm in the second half ensured a 1-1 draw.

Thus, everything is open before the second leg in three weeks in Madrid, where the overall winner will have the pleasure of playing the cup final against either Real Betis or Valencia.

Messi was questionable for the showdown, since increasing the argentinian on Saturday night tagged genes after the league game against Valencia.
