When Kent at the weekend received the first prize, the DN's anniversary book with 450 pages of newspapers, he became curious and opened to a page at random. The page was from 1953, just as Kent himself.
Kent Åkesson is a retired postman and van to look for the right address, but he had to go two times to the Hammarby sjöstad in order to find the answers on the twelve questions. He was accompanied by wife Margaret and sister Karin in the hunt for berths, house numbers, sculptures, parking lots for bicycles and swings, a few of the easter tasks.
Here are the twelve questions on the påskpromenaden in Hammarby sjöstad
It should at once be said that the question 1 caused troubles for many. It was about counting how many apples that is included in Peter Linde's ”Pomona” on Heliosgatan. In the sculpture included apples of different size, and also something resembling a plum. The question wording was, perhaps, in the fuzziest of the team and, therefore, approved both the 5 as 6, 7 and 8 as the correct answer.
he thought it was fun to get to an area he knew so well.
" I grew up in Nacka, and will remember when the Calm was here, with its shed of corrugated iron, but now it is something completely different. Now it is a ministad in the city, " says Kent, who have been out and promenadtävlat six times in the past, but then in the areas he knew.
"We have been in the Old town twice, in Fredhäll, the Red mountains, the city and the island of Kungsholmen, but it was great fun to have a go at otrampad land," says Kent, who joked with the wife and the sister that it was their turn to win this time.
Wishful thinking – sure, but the desire went home and Kent was able to go home to port moody with a lot of reading in the luggage.Kent Åkesson with the first prize, the DN's anniversary book. Photo: Eva-Karin Gyllenberg
