Package-the chaos before christmas: a Long queue to download the christmas gifts

There is so much pressure on the boilers at pakkefirmaet GLS in the weekend up to christmas.

An increasing online shopping of christmas gifts has put the company so much under pressure that the GLS-shops in several places in the country must send the packets on to the other pakkeshops to be able to follow.

In Copenhagen there are so busy that at least one store experiencing long queues, as snørkler far out on the street.

People should have picked their christmas gifts before it is too late. But it is not without challenges.

Several people, that Extra Magazine on the afternoon of Saturday talking with in front of the GLS-the shop on Gammel Kongevej in Copenhagen, says that they have been past the store several times over the past few days, where the queue has been so great that they are gone again - without their packages.

Director at GLS, Karsten Klitmøller, earlier in december told Extra Bladet, the sends 33 percent more packages than they did last year at the same time. Pakkeshopperne has agreed a capacity, so that they know in advance how many they can take.
