a fishing trawler sank Pattanin province while on the trip back to port the crew received a radio warning of the storm. 47-year-old fisherman were killed and one is missing. The other four in the boat a were rescued.
the Storm struck first the South coast of Thailand, on the east side of Nakhon Si Thammaratin province around 12.45 local time. Nakhon Si Thammaratin airport is closed. Also Surat Thani airport is closed. Bangkok Airways cancelled all outgoing and incoming flights to the tourist island of Ko samui.
