39 pre-kindergarten children and 16 staff in the nursery Daisies in Gellerupparken is sent home, after a female staff member in the nursery is found to be contaminated with the coronavirus.
It informs Morten Klind, the leader of the He was day-Care facilities, as nursery is a part of, to TV 2 Østjylland.
- When we find out that we have a coronasmittet employee, we follow from the start of the new National guidelines. We are trying to provide us an overview of how the infection may have spread, so we can quickly find out what we need to put in the time, says Morten Kling.
The staff member was last at work on Friday, 12. June. When she got the symptoms of the corona virus and later tested positive, she contacted the institution.
The other staff in the nursery have since been tested. No one has yet tested positive. The nursery therefore expect to open again on Monday.
- We expect to open again on Monday, if no employees or kids are sick. We want to have a completely normal life, where children come and are comfortable with it. So we keep not closed more than necessary, says Morten Kling to TV 2 Østjylland.
