Maria Butina is known to be the champion of right to bear arms in Russia, and she traveled in 2016 to the UNITED states to take a training course at the American University in Washington.

She was arrested in the month of July in the year in which she was accused of working for the Russian government in the hidden by sending information about u.s. politicians and officials to the Russian government. She has denied the guilty, but has been jailed since.

And now she has therefore chosen to cooperate with the us authorities, and recognise themselves guilty. Exactly what she acknowledges, remains to be seen.

Maria Butina is accused of working to promote the Kremlin's agenda by, among other things, to create relations to the våbenlobbyen NRA, conservative leaders, and by contacting the presidential candidates in 2016.

Maria Butina even started to fight for våbenrettigheder in Russia, which created the attention of like-minded people in the UNITED states.

According to the prosecution, she was directed by Alexander Torshin from the Russian government. The UNITED states has earlier in the year, targeted sanctions against Torshin.

Although Butina also accused of having tried to put himself in connection with Trump, it's not the special prosecutor, Robert Mueller, who stands for the case against her, why it is suggest that you do not believe that she has ties to the supposed Russian interference in the u.s. presidential election in 2016.

Butina tried in may 2016, to arrange a meeting between Torshin and Trump to a NRA convention. It succeeded, however, and instead met she and Torshin with the Trumps son, Donald Trump Jr.

It is unclear exactly how you believe that Maria Butina has attempted to influence u.s. interest groups and politicians, but experts have pointed out that her activities are a reminder of russia's sophisticated methods to try to hit the us political system.

Both Butina and Torshin was friends with several of the NRA's former leaders, and they had two visits by members of the NRA in Moscow.
