For the pollutant nitrogen dioxide will be soon available also for the interior of the same value for the maximum annual facilities load as the outside air. This was decided by a Federal-Länder Committee, as the Committee Chairman Martin power on the hr-confirmed request.

of The "Committee for indoor guideline values" (AIR) refers therefore to the standard set by the world health organization WHO. And the same for the outside air: 40 micrograms of nitrogen dioxide per cubic meter of air, annual average. The decision will be published in the coming year in the Federal health sheet and then as a guide for public buildings such as kindergartens, schools or hospitals to apply.
