Nine-year-old fought against the system: to change the crazy law

One would not immediately think that an innocent snowball fight could make, that one got the police on the neck, but it has nevertheless been the reality for all locals as well as tourists in the small town of Severance in northern Colorado, USA.

Until now.

A nine-year-old jack has, despite his modest age managed to have more success in persuading politicians to follow his advice than many people get in their entire lifetime.

Thus was the young Severance-head by the name of Dane Best so tired of the city's decade-old ban on snowball fights, that he took the matter into their own hands.

It writes The Tribune.

Therefore, he had to Monday evening local time at the pulpit to persuade the experienced councilors that the law should be reconsidered.

In three minutes, got the Dane, the Best questions such as: 'If we allow sneboldkampene, have you talked with your school about safety?' and 'Can we make a rule that you must not throw snowballs at people over 60 years old?'.

- I think it is an outdated law, and I would like to be able to throw a snowball without getting in trouble, it sounded from the dedicated american boy before the meeting.

Dane, Best reportedly had prepared his presentation for the city council in a month and spent three minutes to argue its case.

- the Children of the Severance will have the possibility for a snowball fight, as all the other children have in the rest of the world. This law was introduced several years ago, and today, children need a reason to play outside, said among other things in his speech.

And his zeal and preparation proved to be worth the effort for the ban were lifted, and Dane, the Best were then able to celebrate his victory and tell the attending press, that his four-year-old brother is the target of his first snowball.
