A 500-year-old stenæske with Inkaofringer has been found in the river Titicaca in Bolivia.
Inside was a tiny lama made of shell from a mollusc and a similar tiny gold bracelet.

the Objects have apparently been used in connection with the bloody human sacrifice, which the inca people were known for giving to the river.
It takes at least an archaeologist Christophe Delaere at the Free University of Brussels in Belgium, writes NewScientist.
We have previously found the specificity of the pairing of similar things, such as llamas and bracelet, in places where you know that the incas many years ago did human sacrifice.
the Discovery adds more to the understanding of the whole river as holy (for the inca people), " says Delaere to New Scientist.
