Must to the meeting on the trænerjob

the former fodboldlandstræner Åge Hareide must meet with Rosenborg in the course of august to discuss the possibility of becoming a coach in the club.

Hareide had agreed to take over the trænerjobbet in the Norwegian team from the 1. august, but reconsidered for reasons of health as he suffer from one knee after an operation.

It lit Rosenborg in each case, in the last month. Hareide felt, however, at the time that there had been a job offer.

- We have agreed to a meeting to talk a little bit, and to see how it will be with the knee. So we get to see what happens. It is up to Rosenborg, says Hareide to VG, who has spoken with Hareide, who first confirmed the meeting to Adresseavisen.

On the question whether his intentions are to take over the trænerjobbet in Rosenborg, when the knee allows it, is equivalent Hareide:

Hareide should have been in charge of Denmark at the european football championship this summer. But the finals, where Denmark play their group stage matches in Copenhagen, is pushed to the summer of 2021 due coronakrisen.

Hareide was national coach for Denmark in 2016 and it was up to 2020. His contract expired this summer, and it was already clear that Kasper Hjulmand having to replace the Norwegian. Previously Hareide been in charge for, among others, Norway, Brøndby, denmark, Malmö FF, and, in fact, also Rosenborg.

Back in July thought Rosenborg, the club had made an oral agreement with Hareide.

- We had a verbal agreement with Åge Hareide, but he has withdrawn because of health. We are disappointed with the decision, but respects, of course, that health comes first, said the club team he will play, Mikael Dorsin.

Rosenberg said, that, in fact, already after the draw against Bodø/Glimpses 25. June reached a verbal agreement with Hareide.
