The UN expert Agnès Callamard has made representatives of Riyadh for the murder of the Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi responsible. They have collected evidence that Khashoggi had become the victim of a "brutal and intentional killing".
This had been "planned and executed (a) by representatives of the Saudi Arabian state." The UN special Rapporteur for extra-judicial executions, Agnès Callamard said on Thursday after a visit in Turkey. The murder asking for the "urgent attention of the international community, including the UN".
Callamard was traveled at the end of January in Turkey, and had met there, among others, the Turkish foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu. They condemned the abuse of diplomatic "immunity" by Saudi Arabs, to commit to "with impunity" to a murder.

The Saudi Arabian leadership has Khashoggis death under international pressure. The government-critical Journalist had been strangled at the beginning of October, in the Consulate of the Kingdom in Istanbul, a visiting 15-member command and dismembered; his body was never found.
