Mette Blomsterberg give up: Close off its patisserie

After only four years it is over to buy cakes and other sweeten cases in the Blomsterbergs Café and Pastry shop in Lyngby.

Denmark's arguably biggest confectioner Mette Blomsterberg throw namely in the towel and closes his baker. It happens according to her own statements, because the business has not gotten the economy to work as hoped after the opening in may 2014.

The 49-year-old tv celebrity, who is known from madprogrammer as 'Price and Blomsterberg', 'The big bagedyst' and 'The sweet life', inform yourself about the closure on its Facebook profile.

Here she writes among other things:

'the Café has filled much of our daily lives and in our overall business, but unfortunately it is in spite of the many guests failed to achieve a satisfactory earnings in the cafe. It has been simply impossible to achieve a good and healthy economy in this part of our business'.

'It is therefore with great regret and chagrin that we now take the consequence of this development, and closes Blomsterbergs Café and Pastry shop pr. today's date', is it far from Mette Blomsterberg.

Have one gift certificate to the bakery, the promise of Mette Blomsterberg to refund it out of their own pocket, if one comes before 31. January. She also mentions that there have been many customers in the year, where the store has been open on the Toftebæksvej in Lyngby.

But even if she langer cakes across the counter in a steady stream, she'll earn not money on it. It showed her latest accounts also.

'the Result of the activities of the company showed in the year a negative result, and therefore have not fulfilled the expectations that were made for the year. There is expected a less negative result in the next financial year', in the reliability of the management's review.

Mette Blomsterberg has in the past year tried to adapt its business by, among other things, to cut down on staffing costs. In 2016, echoed the on 4.693.391 crowns, while in 2017 are cut down to 3.899.747 crowns.

The negative result from the Blomsterbergs café is also reflected in Mette Blomsterbergs holding company, Gloria Lama Holding ApS. The parent company lost 72.600 crowns in 2017.
