WWF has more than 1,000 active projects all over the world, and the crown princess comes among other things, to engage in projects that are related to iconic species, the rainforest, the plastic, the sea, and the Arctic.
It was prince Henrik who in his time founded the Danish division and the royal family has over the years played an important role in creating awareness about wwf's projects and fundraising activities for the benefit of nature and the world's wild animals.
