Man in 30s charged with the killing of his wife in Sarpsborg

SARPSBORG/OSLO (Dagbladet): At 11 Friday notified the police that they had blocked off a crime scene in Moenskogen in Sarpsborg, in connection with a serious criminal case.

Just before at 12 confirmed to police that the case is being investigated as a homicide. A man was arrested on site and is charged in the case.

Drapsoffer and offender are married and have two children together. The children were present at the residence when the murder took place.

Children are treated as witnesses and the offended in this case. They are attended by child welfare authorities, and shall avhøres in the morning, ' says Mirzaei.

Neither the offender or the victim are Norwegian citizens. Dagbladet has confirmed that they are from Syria.

The charged man was earlier this month indicted for the manslaughter of her four-month-old son.
