Lufthansa's board of directors says yes to the big aid package

Lufthansa's board of directors accepts the terms and conditions that are attached to a large aid package to nine billion euros.

It is the German government, which makes the package available to help the airline through the coronakrisen.

In Danish kroner, the amount to 67,5 billion.

The final approval of the package must be 25. June at an extraordinary meeting of Lufthansa's shareholders.

- We recommend that the shareholders follow this path, says Karl-Ludwig Kley, chairman of the board, in a statement.

Lufthansa must pay in order to get help.

In common with most other airlines are also Lufthansa in deep trouble, because there is no air traffic during the coronakrisen.

the Agreement says that the German state will get a stake of Lufthansa 20 percent.

- The expected slow return of the global air traffic makes it inevitable to adjust our capacity, as Carsten Spohr, Lufthansa's ceo, says.

Before the crisis had Lufthansa 760 aircraft and 140.000 employees.
