Former prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (V) has been summoned for questioning in Instrukskommissionen.
It is apparent from the commission's website.
the Commission shall examine the progress around the illegal separation of asylpar in 2016, under then immigration and integration minister Inger Støjberg (V).
Lars Løkke Rasmussen to testify after the summer recess on 17. september.
Thus the case of the illegal separation and the potential breaches of the law committed by Inger Støjberg reached the upper peak of the former government.
Also, the former permanent secretary in the prime minister's office Christian Kettel Thomsen, and former permanent secretary in the ministry of Justice Barbara Bertelsen to testify. She is currently permanent secretary in the prime minister's office.
The new witnesses are called, after former justice minister Søren Pind (V) under a kommissionsafhøring has told me that he informed Lars Løkke Rasmussen on his concerns for the separation of asylpar.
- I informed the prime minister that I was concerned about what was happening in the Aliens affairs and Integration, told Søren Pind from the witness box.
– My recollection is that it took place at sms, and that it is not triggered the great enthusiasm. It is not an everyday items, that a minister addressed to the prime minister, because he is concerned about the law being broken. I can't remember, I've done it in other contexts.
Soren Pind told also, that he did not remember, when he sent the text message to fellow party member Loop. Peg has also no longer the sms.
the decision to separate the asylpar was given in February 2016, when the Left had power.
Instrukskommissionens study is whether there in 2016 from Inger Støjbergs ministry and with her knowing was given an illegal instruction, to all asylpar should be separated, if one was a minor.
According to the convention, each couple have an individual treatment.
