for many years, it has been rather troublesome to get to Liverpool from Denmark, who are not direct flights. Either you have had to fly to London and take the train from there, or you had to fly via Manchester. And it is typically a little pricey.

Ryanair opens a direct route from Copenhagen to Liverpool from april 2019. So if you don't get problems with sleeping due to trade union scruples, it is the easiest and cheapest solution.
