Krammeterapeut convicted of rape: Now shut down

Per Brændgaard is a finished invite to the krammeklub at his residence on Østerbro in Copenhagen, after he on Tuesday was sentenced to one year and two months in prison for the rape of a woman.

But the 47-year-old krammeterapeut deny that he was her therapist, but that they met in krammeklubben and subsequently had voluntary sex in private. He has appealed against the judgment on the spot.

Per Brændgaard oriented Wednesday Østerbro Krammeklub that he closed the club down, on the group's Facebook page and on his blog today. Also its krammeterapi he has shut down.

'My private krammeklub has always been a private activity for the volunteer adults. It has never been therapy, which I have always stressed clearly. I have always participated (hugged) on an equal footing with the other members without giving any kind of therapy, and without being any kind of therapist. I have not required any payment from the members. It has been an equal space to all parties', he writes on the blog.

- It, such as the lawsuit shows, is that the court apparently considers that if I do something intimate with a person I have met in my krammeklub, so the person apparently no free will to say no. And my private krammeklub assesses right to be the therapy, he says, and continues:

- It means that I can't continue with it, for many of them, that comes in my krammeklub, people, as I have private relationships with. It means that any woman in my krammeklub, who looks angry at me for one reason or another, will be able to get me sentenced to 14 months in prison more, " he says.

There is yet no set date for the appeal in The high Court, however, Per Brændgaard has already prepared for the outcome.

- I'm stoiker by nature, so I prepare myself at the worst possible, so I have set myself on, that I should be in jail, he says, and tells that he has already begun to think about how he can work with his krammefilosofi behind bars.

On his blog he writes, moreover, that he in the future will put the four rules up for themselves:

1: No longer offering the business card to women.

2: No longer ask strange women if they want to cuddle with.

3: do Not meet in private, without witnesses, with women that I do not already know well.

4: do Not take the initiative for any kind of intimate contact with any new woman that I meet on my path in this life.
