About 100 klimataktivister from the Swedish branch of the climate movement Extinction Rebellion bused to Stockholm in the weekend from both Malmö and Gothenburg. The Swedish XR-movement is in its infancy, and the participants are a diverse mix of klimataktivister, environmentalists and a lot of return, individuals who never before had been out on the streets with placards. Extinction Rebellion, which freely translated means utrotningsuppror, requires, among other things, zero-emission of carbon dioxide already in 2025.
