Katja K: Close to die

today, we have unfortunately had to kill the cat ’Greta Garbo’.

It was a beautiful black and white female cat of ten years, which, unfortunately, had been sick unto death of an enlarged heart.

She had major breathing problems, and even though she got antibiotics, it helped not.

But that, unfortunately, contributed to her untimely death, was a couple of teenage boys who had shot with the fireworks directly down towards her settlement, where she lived with a lot of other homeless cats. In a green area just opposite where we live.

I walked casually past the other day, and so how it was filled with fyrværkerirøg. The cat got a shock.

With the warning raised index finger and an angry voice scolded I loudly the boys out there, it is shameful disappeared away on their little mopeds.

Life is fragile.

one day we are here, the next day we are away.

I myself have been close to death. Unsuspecting.

some years back I had cystitis, but I had no symptoms.

I began to be a little sluggish and had fever.

My husband phoned to the doctor in attendance, but I could manage not to sit in an emergency room for several hours, so I decided to go to my own doctor the day after.

Early in the morning, I had gotten it worse. I was queer, and everything was like in slow motion.

My husband offered to drive me to the doctor, but I chose to run on my bike alone.

contrary wind and frost contend I myself through slippery and snow-covered cobbled streets on my bicycle. It was winter and bitterly cold. Typical me.

’no, No, I am doing it for myself’.

Tough as a vikingkvinde.

please do Come forward. Fought me up the stairs in the entryway and fell almost on the inside of the doctor's waiting room.

When the doctor sow me, she said;

’I'm probably going to have to call an ambulance for you’. ’You have to go with the same’!

I would not want to hear about. So bad it could not be, I thought.

I wanted my husband to come and pick me up, so he could drive me to the hospital.

Called to him.

’darling, you must come and fetch me in a taxi, but first you need to go for a walk with the dog’.

There I sat in the waiting room, sick unto death, and thought only in practical tasks.

Saw him out with the dog in the morgensneen and then ilende to me.

We drove in the taxi to the hospital and had to nicely wait in the queue. If I had come with the ambulance, they had of course taken against me in case of emergency.

I was first hospitalized later at the afternoon, but was quickly placed in the drop with antibiotics.

the Whole of the subsequent night sweat I tran in the hospital bed. It was soaked with sweat.

I had gotten blood poisoning, and my infektionstal was very high.

I had never been close to dying before! Not as far as I know.

Fortunately survived I and I got more wise out of the experience. Recently purchased expanded private health insurance. We the people tonser just power through, and believe we are immortal.

Especially men are bad to go to the doctor. I am always skråsikker and think that I can cope with it all.

we can't. So take good care of yourselves out there and cultivate gratitude.

’As a hint of a drop we were allowed to hope for the things that must come before life is over’.
