the whole team of lawyers in the back defended FIFA's deputy secretary-general Alasdair Bell on Monday in an hour the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino. We have nothing to hide, said Alasdair Bell repeatedly, but unfortunately, Infantino't remember the content of the meetings, of which the last took place in June 2017.

There is the ethical committee, to ensure that there is irregularities in FIFA.

So, we have instead asked law professor Miguel Maduro, who has previously been in the FIFA's ethical committee. He was fired by Infantino, when he refused to approve the former Russian minister for sports Vitaly Mutko, as a member of FIFA's governing council.

As I evaluate the case, there is no illegal, but it does not mean that Infantino has done anything criminal. It should specialanklageren find out.

– But it, which is come forward, should be enough for FIFA's ethics committee to begin its own investigation of Infantino to find out his role in the meetings.

– It can be occurred the breakage of FIFA's ethical guidelines in this case. There are strong reasons to believe that the Laubers participation in the meetings was in violation of swiss law. It is therefore right to ask the question about Infantino ought to have known that it was illegal. If this is the case, he may have violated article 13 and 14 of the FIFA code of ethics.

– In article 13 states that the ethics committee can punish the persons who have contributed to the damage to FIFA's reputation.

– and I stress that Infantino did not have to have committed a breach of the law to be penalized through FIFA's ethical framework. It can only happen if he has offended against the code of ethics.

Maduro not the only one to think. But, so far Infantino stacked a whole wall of lawyers up in front of them, and so can you wonder that football money should be used to defend a man with such poor judgement. The meetings with the Lauber sucks, and the peculiar press conference on Monday did not help his case. Instead, it was a simple own goal.
