'I am 31 years old, and I am very afraid of the police, because I have seen what they can do, and what they are willing to do to a person. Guilty or not'.

On his childhood experiences, he writes:

'I grew up with police brutality, cops in kampudstyr, who performed the searches, wrongful arrests and handing out beatings. Tear gas reminds me of kindergarten. I was 10 years old when I was frisked for the first time, and my backpack was emptied on the ground'.
