In land of legends in Lejre , you can go on discovery in the past. With the largest kongehal from the viking age, you can get the experience of how one lived in the very old Denmark, and how to built amazing constructions in wood.

The big kongehal and the many other finds from the iron age and the viking age testify, that the Old Camps have had a very special position in the past. Some even believe that it has acted as the headquarters for the society's top.

Here, you can experience life as it was lived in the really old days. You can swing the axe, grind his own flour and bake it subsequently, just as one can sail in a carved tree trunk on the lake at the land of legends.

in the Midst of the scenic area Elverdamsdalen in Hvalsø it is obvious with one visit to the Tadre Mill . It is also interesting for both children and adults. It is the last operational watermill in the area, and it now works as a nature center and cultural museum. It is a perfect target for a wonderful day trip.
