What is the best van that money can buy at this time? The awards each year with the crowning of the Year Points, and now is the winner for 2020 found.

– the Transit Custom Plug-in Hybrid is the right winner of this Year's Van at 2020, because it quite simply represents the best solution and is a greener alternative to conventional vans, says the president of the jury Andreas Lang Hedegaard, who is also vice-president of Danish association of automotive journalists and editor of Biltorvet.

– Ford Transit Custom Plug-in Hybrid not chosen the easy option, but the right solution – a solution that takes into account the customer, since it has the hybrid technology, which neither compromise on the square, the load capacity, the device or the charging time.

most Importantly, however, is that the Transit Custom Plug-in Hybrid also is an alternative with low CO2 emissions, which takes society's environmental challenges seriously. It seems relatively expensive in price, but it is fetched again over the whole varebilens life, he says.

At the Ford of Denmark evokes the title this Year Van 2020 both the joy and the ’immense pride’.

– We have in every part of our organization worked very hard to make the Transit Custom a Plug-in Hybrid for the best van in our range ever, says Tom Maxmølris, Ford Denmark's Head of Commercial Vehicles.

– It reduces both emissions and but the total cost without sacrificing on the practical properties, as the Transit Custom is well-known for.

The Danish title is not the only honour that the plug-in version of the Ford Transit Custom is over with. Earlier in the year went overall victory at the International Van of the Year 2020, namely to the Transit Custom.

Here it was, in fact, the entire Transit Customs hybridlinje – including the Transit Custom EcoBlue Hybrid – which was announced as the winner.
