Harboe-board silent on ølkongens scams

The former Lett-lawyer Anders Nielsen was from 2001 to 2016, a part of the board of directors of Harboes bryggeri.

In the period, bought the brewery, fol.a. the 'goods' and 'services' for a three-digit million amount of its own director Bernd Griese and his personal companies.

But it is Anders Nielsen is not much to talk about.

- I will not speak to me, he says, when Additional Leaf contacts him to inquire about the board of directors approved the Harboe trades with the director's own companies.

- Anders Nielsen, has there been anything in your time in Harboe, as you no longer can vouch for?

- you Can't hear what I say? I will not comment on Harboe, says the lawyer and hang up.

the Case indicates also that Anders Nielsen and the rest of the board of directors of Harboe has failed, because the internal trades have not been stopped.

It takes Lars Frederiksen, president of the Committee for Good corporate Governance, which sets out recommendations for the country's listed companies.

- the Board of directors of a company shall represent all shareholders. You can't favor one, says Lars Frederiksen and refers to the fact that Bernd Grieses family owns 16 percent of the shares in the brewery.

- Would you as a board member approve, that a company bought in with the director's private companies?

- No, I would not. If the board approves this kind of, so it is not neutral. The board should, as mentioned, the interests of all shareholders. The director will drive the company in the best way possible. And the two things must not be mixed together, says Lars Frederiksen, who himself is chairman of Matas.

Anders Nielsen is far from the only member of the board in Harboe, who claps when the speech falls on the purchases in Bernd Grieses personal companies.

- I have no comment, " says Poul Møller, who has been in the brewery's board of directors since 2016.

- you Will not just hear my question, before you refuse to comment?

- No, thank you. Goodbye, " says Poul Møller.

He was also president of the Korsør Golf club, which has Harboes bryggeri as the main sponsor. Bernd Griese is the golf club's vice-president.

the Extra Leaf has also been in contact with former members of the board Thøger Thøgersen Carl Erik Kjærsgaard and Mette Kirstine Agger. None of them wanted to comment on the matter.

Bernd Griese has, despite repeated requests not responded to questions about the case.

Previously, the Danish Aktionærforening called on the country's regulatory authorities to investigate the conditions in Harboe.
