The Danish cykelstjerne Jakob Fuglsang has not given up the dream of being able to ride for Bjarne Riis again.
It tells the 35-year-old Astana rider in the Tour de ja-vu', which is currently rolling across the screen on TV2 as a replacement for the Tour de France, which usually sent in July.
At the moment, is Bjarne Riis and team owner for the south african World Tour-crew NTT Pro Cycling. And there is especially a event, as Fuglsang dream to be able to participate in a team with so much Danish influence as possible.
- I don't know what's happening at the NTT. It's all been put a little on the break compared to the rytterforhandlinger, and I still have a year left of my contract with Astana, so there must be something strange, say Fuglsang in the program, before he adds:
- But if it should succeed for Bjarne, and specially to download a Danish sponsor, then it could be cool to start the Tour in Denmark on a Danish team as possible.

In dialogue with Riis
Jakob Fuglsang drove under Bjarne Riis at the then Team Saxo Bank from 2009-2010. And it is hardly a coincidence that the 35-year-old silkeborgenser now airing his thoughts on a possible reunion with the Danish team owner.
Already within Fuglsang put his signature on an extension with Astana, he had several conversations with Bjarne Riis.
- Last year, before I renewed my contract, I talked with Bjarne. Among other things, with the intention to be able to start the Tour on a Danish team, as it can be. It succeeded so not. So I don't know if I am going to end my career on a Kazakh team, or how it's going to look like, the sounds from the dane to the Danish TV2.
Jakob Fuglsang is noted for a number of major wins in his career. He has won etapeløbet the Critérium du Dauphiné twice, while he also has won the great belgian endagsløb Liège-Bastogne-Liège, when he raced first over the finish line last year.
Moreover, he won last year his first stage in one of the big Grand Tours, as he on the great show put all the competitors to the wall and won 16. stage of the Vuelta a España.
the Success in the Tour de France he has, however, yet to good. Here is his best result an overall seventh place finish, while he has also been out of the Tour several times.
