This time in one of the smallest national federation: Gibraltar.
Here, the local football federation on its website announced that four players from the reigning cup winners and vice champions, European FC, has been found guilty of illegal gambling, match-fixing.
The case of the Spanish midfielder Iván Moya Tornay, the argentine midfielder Martin Rodrigo Belfortti, the Spanish wing Roldan Mendez, as well as the Spanish defender Alberto Merino Sanchez.
the federation has already found four players guilty and awarded them a penalty.
So get Tornay the maximum penalty to seven years in quarantine and a fine of 12,500 dollars, while Belfortti has been sentenced to five years in quarantine and a fine of 10,000 dkr.
In the slightly milder end of the scale come the other two players. Roldan Mendez has got 18 months of quarantine and a fine of 4000 dollars, while the Merino Sanchez is sentenced to nine months ' quarantine and a fine of 2,000 crowns.
