Forza Ninove has half of mandates in renewed CPAS thanks to N-VA member: the first step to cooperation with the party of Guy D'haeseleer and co?

Ninove Forza Ninove achieves four of the eight mandates in the Special Committee for the Social services Department (BCSD) after a failed lijstverbinding between Open Vld and N-VA.

“I can only confirm that a new attempt was undertaken for a lijstverbinding, but that that does not continue,” says Karolien De Roose. She does not deny that she refused her signature. “But I won't elaborate in detail about action.”

Huge impact

Thanks to the failed lijstverbinding gets Forza so the half of the mandates in the BCSD. “The consequences of this under a hat to play of N-VA with Forza are huge,” says Jordy De Dobbeleer, current OCMW councillor for sp.a-Green, and a member of the Special Committee for the Social Service (Together). “The extreme right, with 40 percent of the votes, this has the half of the mandates in the BCSD. The chairman of the BCSD, one of the aldermen, will therefore determine how individual social policy will look like.”

With the political deadlock in Ninove threaten the aldermen to be appointed through a secret ballot on the city council in mid-January. That way is also a schepencollege with only Forza-aldermen possible. The attitude of The Roose compared to Forza can play a major role. “If the cooperation of N-VA and Forza continued, threatens a far-right schepencollege and they have an absolute majority in the social committee. Forza will probably come to power and decide on leeflonen and support. They all are equal treat or they maintain some support for the ‘own’ white population? They discriminate on the surname?”, ask The Dobbeleer.

Guy D'haeseleer (Forza) said to be intrigued about a possible lijstverbinding between N-VA and Open Vld. “Would the old policy will be continued. Now continue to the election results respected. I hope that over the next few weeks, common sense is used and no crazy things.”
