Probably the most contentious project since the Slussenomdaningen. The british stjärnarkitekten David Chipperfields nyformalistiska construction proposal was challenged by the culture writers, interest groups – as well as the King. The conservatives were in favour of the proposal, which would subject to judicial review in the supreme förvaltningsinstans. But in order to be able to reign with the MP they folded and withdrew the appeal.

The proposed Applebutiken, designed by briton Norman foster's arkitekturbyrå, in Kungsträdgården was fiercely criticised by politicians, the residents and this council. Many claimed that the central park did not have a big store associated techjätten. After the elections, they announced the green & blue that the proposal be stopped, to Apple's chagrin, who paid expensive money for the leasehold.

A provided the extension to Anders Tengbom brutalistiska complex attracted strong criticism in 2017. The architect Manuelle Gautrand called his extravåningar a ”butterfly that lands on the roof” – which is neither M, KD or this council liked. The small forest just south of Södermalm's future has been a political bone of contention. The parties agreed that making the area a nature reserve, but a political majority wanted to build around 1000 homes right next door. It was the Centre party as the only party to the choice to stop and got through vallöftet. The houses should be built elsewhere.

A grönblått cooperation before the elections. In the spring of 2018 joined the Socialists, out with the plans of 300 rental units in three locations in Bromma today. Both the L and the M were opposed to the proposals. The MP wanted to not have housing on one of the seats and voted with the Alliance, but yes to the other two after the election – and thus against their new coalition partner, writes Stockholmdirekt.

Status: the Plans in the Ålsten and Äppelviken into the city planning committee, stopped in Smedslätten.
