The wildlife park The Australian Reptile Park has welcomed the first koala-young people who are born since the devastating fires ravaged Australia in the last few months of 2019. Under the fierce fires died also many of Australia's koalas.
the Keepers at The Australian Reptile Park has chosen to give the little koala-the young, the name 'Ash' to the memory of the thousands of koalas, who lost their lives during the severe bush fires in the region New South Wales.

- Our koalas are a kind of ambassadors for the koalas living in the wild nature. It was those who really suffered in connection with the many fires, says Dan Rumsey to the australian media.
- the Koalas are amazing animals, and although ours are raised in captivity, we like the idea that we might help the koalas living in the wild nature.
Koala-baby Ash was born in the month of January, however, the small koala will stay for about six months in his mother's purse. In The Australian Reptile Park hope the keepers, that this year will beat last year's birth rate of the koalas, who spoke seven small koala cubs.
the Zoo opens to the 1. June after having been closed for two months during the coronakrisen.
