Internet Paul van den Heuvel, a Dutch father of Breda, wants to warn everybody: “do not fall into WhatsApp messages from people posing as a family member”. Van den Heuvel, spells out how the scammers operate. “Last Friday I was using WhatsApp approached by someone posing as my daughter. Alex had a new song, that sent them. The old number was gone. Due to problems at the bank, she could own no bills to pay. She asked if I the payments for her wanted to do. The conversation was very familiar, it felt familiar, so I agreed.
