A 44-year-old dog-owner was something of a shock, when his dog Tuesday morning was killed by a shock from a demolished power line on Roskildevej in Frederikssund. A tow truck had unwittingly come to tear the wire down on the sidewalk and the bike path.
Now it turns out that even a dog Tuesday morning stepped on the demolished power line and was close to dying.
I walked past the site around the clock 07.15 with my dog Snubbi. We went on the bike path, and suddenly began the dog to scream like a madman. It was at in about half a minute. I have never heard the scream that way before. At the same time lifted the paw and was completely unhappy, tells Mia Kjeldergaard to Ekstra Bladet.
The 25-year-old woman was out to vent his French bulldog, and she had her small son Oscar in the pram.
Mia Kjeldergaard understood in the first place not at all what had happened.
I actually thought that the dog had a broken leg. But then there came a man from a nearby construction site to me. He said that there was a wire on the public bike path.
When I got home, I called immediately to the police. They would send a patrol car to the site immediately and contact the people who could fix the error. I have subsequently seen the article in Ekstra Bladet, on the dog owner who lost his dog in the same place. His dog was killed at exactly the same time that I spoke with the police, telling Mia Kjeldergaard.
The young woman is quite upset that no one at the nearby construction site tried to warn her against the wire on the bike path.
- I get even with a pram. There bikes also lots of school children on the bike path, since there is a school nearby.
After the incident contacted the shocked woman her veterinarian.
- He said straight out that it was a miracle that Snubbi had not been killed on the spot by the current, tells Mia Kjeldergaard.
The two incidents took place on Roskildevej in the junction by the Strandvangen in Frederikssund. According to police, got a tow truck to tear the electric cable down. But when the driver allegedly was not aware of this, he drove on.
Both police and ambulance were sent to the site, when the notification of the killed dog ran into.
According to north Zealand Police pressekonsulent, Henriette Døssing, was the 44-year-old dog owner investigated in the ambulance.
It turned out that he not is come to, stated she Wednesday to Ekstra Bladet.
Police calls in general, not approaching or touches the fallen power lines, which hang or lie on the ground, as it can be associated with death.
