Seven Labour members have left in Protest against the Brexit course of your party, including Chuka Umunna, the campaigning for months for a second Referendum.
For months, it was bubbling in the Labour party. Massive criticism was directed against the head of the Labour party, Jeremy Corbyn. The Old-Left is considered to be EU-sceptics. The young, charismatic Labour MP Chuka Umunna has now withdrawn its consequences and resigned.
Umunna is one of the group of deputies, a cross-party campaign for another People's Vote. Umunna said:
"It's time that we give up the forever yesterday's policy and offer an Alternative that will live up to what we are today. Of course, this is a difficult decision, but it is not a Labour member to argue for years with people within the party, you will be a member in order to change the world. That's why we invite you today to leave your party and find a new consensus for the future of the UK."
