- We talked together on the phone not too long ago. I had a meeting about a project with a film maker, who believed that it was a new 'Walter and Carlo'-movie, I would talk with him about. It was so not, but he actually had an idea which I thought a little bit further over. So I called Ole and told him about the idea, telling the Jarl Friis-Mikkelsen.

According to the Jarl Friis-Mikkelsen, Ole Stephensen somewhat puzzled over his sudden positive approach to look at the 'Walter and Carlo' again.

I had sworn that I would not make more ’Walter and Carlo's, but I thought we were supposed to meet on this idea. It was so not anything, says Jarl Friis-Mikkelsen quiet.

Ole Stephensens sudden death on Wednesday night put an abrupt end to the fledgling plans, but Jarl Friis-Mikkelsen confirms that there was a project in the pipeline.

- Yes, but in a completely different way. There was actually a really good angle on it. I have never wanted to revive them, for I do not think that one should. Just look at 'the Olsen Gang' as pensioners. It is probably the most awful sight you could see. So we should not in the least. But this idea was just totally different, " says Jarl Friis-Mikkelsen, who does not expect that the idea becomes into something now.

- No, it does probably not. But we have also talked about ’Walter and Carlo’ as a cartoon, and if it gets to something it can be in brian's memory, says Jarl Friis-Mikkelsen, who describes the loss of his mate like losing an arm.

- We've made so much together and had so great success. We were a part of each other's history, he says.

Ole Stephensen died Wednesday night in his home in Gentofte district Vangede. He was 63 years old.
