Date in place: NOW comes the pandas

Now is the waiting time soon past and a future 'historic event' stands for the door in the copenhagen zoo.

After the transportation to the zoo are the pandas transported to each their barn, where it then only is the staff in the garden, who has access to them before the official opening, 10. april.

And the day will be according to the press release something of a feast, when the top of Denmark to enter and see the pandas Mao Sun and Xing's.

Here comes Her Majesty the Queen, Her Royal Highness the crown princess, Lars Løkke Rasmussen and specially invited guests from China, who is in the joint Danish-chinese pandaforskningsprojekt with the name 'Sino-Denmark Giant Panda joint research cooperation'.

11. april, it is Denmark's turn to meet the pandas, and it has the possibility in the 18 months prior to the pandas going home to China again.

The new pandaanlæg is, according to the garden itself the state of the art', where everything has been done, that the pandas get the best stay.

'We have had dyrepassere, zoologists and veterinarians on training placements in China and has been in close dialogue with chinese professionals since 2010. And we do not have at least a whole plantation on south Zealand with the stiff fresh bamboo. So I dare say: we are ready to welcome our newest guests, for it is here in the original sense of a historical event', says Jørgen Nielsen, who at the same time is very proud to be allowed to fit on bambusbjørnene, there is a statsgave to the Queen.

'The two pandas is a statsgave to Her Majesty the Queen, and we are obviously very honored that the Zoological Garden in Copenhagen will house the bears. But in the Royal family's spirit it is also important that the pandas will be in Denmark as a whole pandas.'

'Therefore, it also becomes exciting, when the champagne is bubbled by, and we and our guests are really going to learn the two pandas to know. For there awaits us a lot of great, fun, and educational experiences in the meeting with the two bears - and I know that both we and our guests very much look forward to', he says.
