DR-host stop: 'd rather sleep long

When you future turn on the P3's 'Go'in the Morning' it will be without Stefan Le Quellec Knudsen at the helm.

After two small years, you can hear his voice for the last time on Friday 3 July. The he writes on Instagram.

'After two years it is time to say goodbye to some of the world's best colleagues and friends as I agree with the P3 stop on the program', writes Stefan.

In two years he namely stood up before the sun, but now he no longer profits to be up so early. Life is too short to live in a constant jet lag-rus, as he describes it.

Even he is surprised that he has kept for so long.

'But I simply no longer the energy and the desire to stand up so early every morning all year round, just like Maja and Charles probably also looking forward to get a slightly fresher version of me home every day', he writes.

TRANSFER-NEW: even Though the picture here is a few months old, shows it very well how I have had it on the ’Go' Morgen P3’. But it ends just for a little bit. After two years it is time to say goodbye to some of the world's best colleagues and friends as I agree with P3 on the stop on the program. It is never an easy decision, since I love to send the radio with @majosefine and @mikkel.rosendal and with a very good team behind, but I also must recognize that, in addition to being a great job, also requires that they are unfair up early EVERY day. When I started, I got to know that the job usually has a slightly shorter expiration time than otherwise. And I'm almost too surprised to keep so long! But I simply no longer the energy and the desire to stand up so early every morning all year round, just like Maja and Charles probably also looking forward to get a slightly fresher version of me home every day. Life is too short to be constantly tired and to go in a jetlags-intoxication with the dream of a nap hanging over the head all the time. Therefore I send the ’Go Morning P3’ the last time next Friday (d. 3. July). It will be sad, but also nice. Since the decision just taken, I do not know what needs to be done on the long-term trajectory. So far, I continue on the P3 in a different role - until the middle of september.
