DN Opinion. Unreasonable that Sweden should change the time zone

the EU parliament has decided that the annual shift to daylight saving time will end in 2021. It is a good thing.

My point is that the vote on permanent standard time or so-called daylight saving time is a scam. As if we all of a sudden, when the annual time expires, groping around and not know what the clock is supposed to be.

the EU has said that all countries have to choose? What then to choose?

belonged to a time zone of GMT+1, i.e. central european standard time, therefore the sun in virtually the entire country is highest in the sky one hour prior to the 0-meridian in England.

It is unreasonable to even discuss changing the time zone. No wise man would not have even thought about if the EU is not suddenly imposed on us to select the time zone.

shows the 12 at the top to the sun is highest in the sky (high noon). Similarly, we change the day when the sun is lowest over the horizon (midnight).

Why even ask the question whether to change that, i.e. the change to a time zone, for example, Finland – where we are in relation to the sun need to wake up an hour earlier – or England's and sleep one hour longer?
