DN Opinion. Give amnesty to unaccompanied, as expected, at the asylum

The unaccompanied children would, if they were allowed to stay in Sweden, contribute with labour. However, it is the injustice in the asylum process which forms the basis for an amnesty.

The unaccompanied young people came to Sweden as children during a time when the laws on asylum hardened and processing times increased. They had received a response within a reasonable period of time, most had been staying, and therein lies the essence of the injustice that these young people have been subjected to.

it is the politicians ' responsibility to fix these, regardless of what they think about the future migration policy. A decision on amnesty in this case would still be the most reasonable option.

Some argue that an amnesty will be arbitrary, but aside from that it through history been a solution used to create the justice when people have been pushed between the cracks of asylum law.

the temporary residence permit must also pass the upper secondary school, which is not realistic for all. However, there is good chances to find a job, among other things, in the industries that Jan Stattin and Peråke Jonsved described on the DN Review.

I, and many others with me, will never forget the young people who we are because of the refusal no longer know where they are. We will also not forget most politicians lack of both empathy and responsibility for this group.
