Classic wine auction hit a record

There were in this year's edition of the Hospices de Beaune auction sold for more than 105 million. kr. It is the highest turnover ever and 39% greater than last year.

2018 was a warm and excellent year in Burgundy with early spring, a very hot and dry summer. A cooler autumn meant that the grapes retain their acid. One can therefore expect a particularly nice class of the classical field, particularly at redwine.
