- It looks like an earthquake or a bomb explosion, said the 61-year-old Elaine Francois in august of 2018, just after she had witnessed a man smashed a number of brand-new cottages in the uk Buntingford with an excavator.

It was probably a disagreement about something payment that got the 30-year-old Romanian-born carpenter Daniel Neagu to destroy the houses for a total value of over seven million Danish kroner, while he laughingly shouted, 'whoop whoop' and took pictures of his act.

In one of the recordings you can hear Daniel Neagu tell a passer-by, that someone owes him what amounts to 139.000 Danish kroner.

'I decided that even if I got the trouble, so I did it with good reason, because I haven't got payment, if you know what I mean', you can hear Daniel Neagu say in the recording.

In court called judge Stephen Warner the case for a 'truly shocking' act of revenge'.

He referred to the scenario as 'planned, deliberate acts of vandalism' and said, moreover, that the associated, which emboldened Daniel Neagu to continue his destructive selvtægtsmission 'ought to be ashamed of their behaviour'.

Daniel Neagu refused in spite of video evidence to be guilty, but in January he acknowledged nevertheless guilty of having caused the extensive damage.

He has now been sentenced to four years in prison.
