For when the family for the anatolian shepherd dog Madison had to flee from their now burnt down home, they lost the contact to both Madison and a dog named Miguel.

Miguel was quickly found an hour's drive away from the house, but Madison was no trace of the. And since the authorities only a month later gave the family access to their home, they feared to find the dog killed.

But a local help group that tracks down and helps distressed animals, had already located Madison. It had been at the ruined home, where it literally guarded the site until the family came home.

The volunteers are rescuing Shayla Sullivan confirms to Ekstra Bladet on the social medium Facebook, that story is completely real.

'We were looking after two dogs and found the one quickly, but we knew there had to be two', she writes.

She began to put food and water out at the ruined house, which belonged to the madison's owner Andrea Gaylord.

Andrea Gaylord has told Shayla Sullivan, that she had to leave the dogs at skovbranden, because she was not home when it happened and could not be allowed to get up and retrieve them.

She was therefore extremely happy, when her one dog Miguel came back and hoped that it would also be possible to revisit Madison.

According to Shayla Sullivan knew the rescue party good, that the dog was alive, and she was therefore his order, that there was water and food to Madison. At the same time she put a piece of clothing from the family check on the property, that he should feel comfortable being there.

'He did not abandon his people. Not in the storm, and not in the fire. It must have been a long month for him. I'm so happy that I'm crying while I'm writing it here', she writes to the image of Madison on Facebook.
