Tania Mallets death is confirmed by the official James Bond account on Twitter, where the statement reads:
”We are very sorry to hear that Tania Mallet, who played Tilly Masterson in Goldfinger, has passed away. Our thoughts go out to her family and friends in this sad moment.”

James Bond producer Albert R. Broccoli got the eyes for her after seeing a picture of her in a bikini. He invited her to screen test for the role of Tatiana Romanova in the film Agent 007 sees red, a role she did not.
instead she was made to play the role of Tilly Masterson in the next bond movie Goldfinger. The film was a big success, but Tania Mallet chose to leave the spotlight and was never in any further filmmaking. By his own admission hated her lack of freedom as a film contract entailed, and felt that the compensation was ”horrible”.
Tania Mallet, was a cousin to actress Helen Mirren.
