From 2014 to the beginning of this year, the German federal department for migration and refugees (BAMF) about 5,000 instructions about “crimes against humanity” passed on to the federal police. The acts of violence (e.g. murder, torture, rape or sexual violence, reduction to slavery) committed in the context of an attack on the civilian population.
Just in 129 cases was there an investigation was started. That has the German ministry of the Interior confirmed following a parliamentary question from a politician of the liberal party FDP. In 2015/2016, there were 3.800 instructions and only 28 studies.
