Ford informs therefore do not have concrete plans for how they will ensure that they can live up to the mandatory goal to be CO2-neutral by 2050.

In Europe is using the Ford already today, 100 percent renewable energy for the operation of its factories in the Uk, the Craiova plant in Romania and Cologne, germany-the factory in Germany. Ford expects that the company's european market will be the first to become CO2-neutral.

Ford is investing nearly 76 billion dollars in electrified vehicles by the end of 2022 and will eventually offer all the company's passenger cars in the european market in at least one electrified variant. It will, in the course of 2021 result in 18 the electrified Ford models in the european market in total, which includes both mildhybrider, hybrids, plug-in hybrids and full electric vehicles.
