In a radio interview with the Nederlandse Omroep Strichting reveals that he by mistake called the us emergency number 911 from The international space station (ISS).

Entered the wrong

But Kuipers was unaware of the chaos he had caused until the next day.

I made a mistake. The day after I received an e-mail that read: "Called to 911?"

- I was a bit disappointed that they didn't come up to me, haunts him.

the Astronaut tells us that phone calls come through most times, but that delay creates major problems.

Not the only one

the Dutchman is not the only one who has called bugs from outer space.

During the Peakes Twitter message reveals also the Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti that she has dialled the us emergency number from outer space by mistake.
