Agreement at the UN climate summit in Katowice

After two weeks of tough negotiations, agreed by the States representatives at the UN world climate conference in Katowice on a package for the implementation of the Paris climate agreement.

Three years after the historic agreement at the Paris climate agreement almost 200 States have approved common rules for the practical implementation. The head of the UN climate change conference in Poland, Michal Kurtyka, sealed the compromise of the plenary meeting in Katowice with a hammer.
