Five years after the Salmonella scandal and the lower-Bavarian company Bavaria Egg it comes to the process. The district court of Regensburg has approved on Friday the charges of the Prosecutor against the Ex - managing Director Stefan Pohlmann. The defendants, among other things, personal injury, wrongful death, commercial fraud, as well as food - and animal-protection law violations are accused of. The process should begin in the second half of the year.
Pohlmann will leave 2014 as the owner of the Bavaria-Egg-laying hens-operation in Aiterhofen (in the district of Straubing-Bogen) eggs marked grade A have to deliver, even though the production sites of Salmonella detected.
