33,703 corona cases were reported to the RKI yesterday.

In a week-on-week comparison, there is again a sharp decline of 41 percent this time.

The incidences in all 16 federal states are declining again.

And: All federal states are still in the red with their incidences compared to the previous week.

With the infections reported yesterday, the number of cases registered since the pandemic began has passed the 36 million mark.

It took 22 days from the 35th to the 36th million.

The 7-day average of the new corona cases has fallen by a good 70 percent since the peak of the autumn wave on October 13th.

At 31,445 cases, it is lower today than it was a year ago. That has never happened before in 2022.

The number of urban and rural counties with an incidence of more than 500 was 346 three weeks ago today, 154 two weeks ago today and eight a week ago today.

Today there is only one left: the district of Dahme-Spreewald in Brandenburg.
