After a robbery on his father, a six-year-old died in the Tiroler Ache in Austria. As the State Criminal Police Office reported on Sunday, the investigators assume that the father, who comes from Germany, was knocked unconscious from behind by an unknown person in the area of the promenade in St. Johann in Tirol on Sunday night. Authorities said he was hit in the head by a beer bottle.
After that, the mentally handicapped six-year-old apparently climbed out of the buggy on his own and fell into the Ache, where he was aborted and could only be found dead about 600 meters downstream.
There is no evidence that the child was subjected to violence by the unknown perpetrator, LKA director Katja Tersch told the Austrian news agency APA. The injured father was found by a passer-by. His cell phone and wallet were stolen. He was injured in a hospital and received psychological care.
