Based on data from the Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG), the first responders were dispatched about 1:30 p.m. into an agricultural region north of the airport.
The passing of both paratroopers was sadly noted immediately.
Their identity wasn't immediately revealed from the authorities out of admiration for their loved ones.
There were still very few details available at the conclusion of the day to the situation leading up to this catastrophe.
The scene was shielded by the SPVG so that researchers and crime scene technicians shed light onto this function.
